Most people say happiness can't be measurable. That's false. It can be measured by the simple formula:
Wanting what you have / Having what you want
This indicates the more you appreciate what you do have, instead of trying to get ahold of things you believe will make you happy, the happier you will become.
Having what you want only results in short-term happiness while wanting what you have could result in long-term happiness. It's true!
Of course I do believe some "having what you want" is necessary in order to "wanting what you have."
